About Our Minister

Rev Samuel Annan was a pastor in the Methodist Church in Ghana where he was involved in mission and evangelism programmes for a long time. He felt called to come to Australia to pursue theological studies and a calling into ministry. With his faith in God’s promise to Abraham that “He is called to be a blessing to all” (Gen. 12) he came to Australia in 2014 leaving his family behind. After two years of his arrival, his family joined him here in Australia.

Samuel was ordained in November 2023, after he had finished his formation programme with the Uniting Church and had completed his Bachelor of Theology at Morling College (VOSE) in Perth. He became Minister of Rockingham in January 2024. He is married to Rachel Annan since 2005 and have two children: Emelia Rose Annan and Samuel Kofi Annan.

Samuel likes playing soccer with his son, going for a walk and cooking for his family and friends. His passion in ministry has been pastoral care, mission and evangelism. Even though he is still learning Australian football rules has fallen in love with the West Coast Eagles.
